Excess amount of ginger in the
refrigerator is actually a boon to us while cooking. When you want to store
ginger for two or more weeks, then you can try out making a ginger paste which
lasts more than two weeks. this paste will last as long as 2 months if used carefully.
I usually make sure that I have a
good amount of Ginger as well as garlic paste. Usually I grind them separately.
This time i have bought a sumptuous amount of ginger and I had planned to store
it for future use.
Ingredients

Ginger-
250 gms
·
Salt-
2 tsp
·
Vinegar-
4 tbs
Method
·
Clean
the ginger well with a lot of water
·
Scrap
off the skin from ginger
·
Cut
into smaller pieces
·
Take
a mixer grinder and put all the ginger pieces to it
·
Add
vinegar and salt
·
Grind
the ginger to paste
·
Store
in air tight container
·
Refrigerate
for storing
