Fish Dry Fry- Meen Perattiyathu

Traditional Kerala Fish delicacies are a real joy to the heart, soul and for the taste buds. It is a fact that most of the tourists who come to “God’s Own Country” love to try out the variety of sea food options lined up before them. Fish Theeyal - Fish Curry With Roasted Coconut

One of my favorite fish delicacies is Fish Theeyal, which is a blend of fish, roasted coconuts with the perfect mix of roasted spices. Usually I love to have a fish fry or a fish curry with rice for lunch. But everyone needs a change. So this is the change I love a lot when I do not cook a fry or a curry.

Theeyal is actually made with vegetables. But it can also be made with fish and meat. If you need to check out the recipe for a vegetable theeyal, you can simply copy paste the link to your browser and see how a vegetable theeyal is made. You will also get the right method of roasting coconut grating with the help of microwave from this link, which is my earlier post.

The method of making Fish theeyal is also similar to that of vegetable theeyal, only difference is that you add fish to it instead of vegetables. So here you are the recipe of fish theeyal.
